Governor of Ohio Visit

The Governors of Ohio have been strong supporters of and participants in the American Legion Buckeye Boys State program since the inception of Buckeye Boys State in 1936

The Governors of Ohio have personally appeared at the Buckeye Boys State program and visited with the Boys State delegates and staff every year since 1936, including the War years during World War II.
